Poem: How do you mourn loss?
Pray, tell me how you cope in loss
Is it that empty vessel of feeling
That you'd wish wash away
In the river of grief.
Do you brood all over in a gnawing sorrow?
Or you let tears out from their eye pouch
With the liquid white of nostrils
Complimenting the anguish of the heart
Do you wish the world will mourn for you?
Consoling your faith in strand of humanity.
Making you a queen of hope in that holeless life.
You allow a log of pain quench the heart's pathway
Turning you out of realm of future
And darkness friending you there.
If this loss is a human
Dead or alive
How will you forge ahead?
Will the heart ever let go
Can you poof out that tumulting emotion
Will you shovel in fullness
And next the memorabilia surface
Will you look away to the world of no-emptiness?
I ask again, how do you cope with loss?
