Memories- Chimezie Anajama.
I remember.
We sat together.
Hovering on our future with words.
We smiled, as our plans became
skyscrappers.
At graduation, we had dispelled.
Like oil and water, we drifted.
Our dreams we dreamt jointly were all sand.
Leaking out our differences and
yesterday's love.
Our skyscrapper of future were all
flattened into debris
With the wind of distrust and
accusations.
But lessons followed them.
That's the beauty of memories.
Chimezie Anajama.
