Girl, before allowing love to swoon you, have these two basic things in mind.

Falling in love is one of the most wonderful feelings in the world… having someone to talk to always,
having someone to laugh with and share our dreams with; that is something almost every girl wishes to experience.

Truth is, some ladies are not prepared for this and don't know how to go about it.

1. Know what matters to you : Before you decide to go into a relationship, its best to assess yourself, know what matters to and what your values are. In other words know what you want out of life and out of a relationship and get someone that shares those same values.

2. Learn how to be independent : Most ladies get it wrong here. LADIES! We do not need men to run our lives. What will happen if you are single again? Learn
to cater for yourselves financially and emotionally. It’s not just all about finding a partner; it’s also about being a partner.
And your partner shouldn't be your ATM point. Learn how to be fierce independent financially; you earn the man's respect by paying the bills sometimes. Time has gone when payment of bill was exclusively men's job. And if you can learn how to smile and be happy without necessarily being too dependent on the guy, it is a bonus.
