We maybe living in one universe, but we see things differently. What if some persons were bold enough to tell us their stories? We celebrate both the known and unknown, wack and unwack. Yes, we all can co-exist.

Nsukka: As he goes.....

Soon, a breath of fresh air will be
breathed in Nsukka. The process of ushering in that breeze has begun. A new V. C. is on the way.

Yea... Some people are weeping.
Don't ask me if the tears are #diarizgodo type, or GMG
(Ghana-must-go) type, eyeservice
type, mentholatum and aboniki
type or agape love type. The only
thing i know is that some are
weeping. Something like droplets
of water is rolling down on
someone's cheek.

As expected, there must be some
that must display the opposite
action. Celebrate. Yea... Some can't wait for the transition period to end. Already, their imaginary and real glasses of champagne, palm wine, Alomo bitters, etc are already held high, suspended, waiting for the D-day, so that the clinking will begin.

For me. I am just aloof. Neither
here nor there. Not happy, nor
sad. Just neutral. At a break-even
point. You know the reason? Because, roughly, my pains are proportionate to my gains.

Yea. UNN is probably the most
expensive Federal University, etc,
but remarkably, i don't lack water,
and even if i don't see Nepa light,
there's a permanent hope of
generator light, 7pm-10pm, at
least, going with my experience in
this country when it comes to
power, consistent 3hrs per day is
better than nothing.

I receive my lectures when due,
even if some were held at stadium, without the benefit of chairs, board, public address system, etc. The most important thing, my lectures held.

For the free internet services which skyrocketed my school fees some sessions back, even though many students, couldn't afford a laptop at the time, i.e minus the jara, small-small increment of figures yearly. So Yea. I browse these days. F. O. C. (free of charge). It is a gain. Though i've to trek a painful 1km everyday to Library or P. A. A. for me to access it.

At its installation, the internet, we,
the students, were told that it can
be accessed even in our hostel
wardrobes, toilets and rooms, but
after days and weeks of "no
internet access" in our hostels,
everybody learnt how to trek, and
perch like thick swarms of
houseflies at the uptown areas of
the school. In order to browse.
Many have lost systems because of
this distance, at night. May it not be my (our) portion IJN. Amen.
But like i said earlier, i browse free of charge. For some hours. That is what counts.

Am not here to badmouth my V.C.
God forbid. Am i mad? Do i want to graduate at all? Biko, i am a
patriotic Lioness. Very loyal to the
adminstration. For this reason. I am here to write about his achievements. The ones i saw, i am seeing and witnessing.
Like a 'good' student.

First, he has miraculously cured P.I.V of some buildings.

By PIV. I mean, Paint Immune Virus. A sibling of HIV.
I mean it. Some buildings,
especially the ones found at the
downtown part of the school,
faraway from the three arms zone
of the school, really were huge
victims of this virus for a long time. For the ones that their virus have gone beyond Mmekwatalism,
repair, they're pulled down and
new ones were erected. And for
the others, they have all been
renovated and painted. Even if their costs were bloated and no new hostel was built; now, unn is now better off infrastructurally.

Second, the school environment is
now very eco-friendly. Plenty
flowers everywhere, with different colours. Planted along the pavements.

Finally, with all seriousness, i want
to express my gratitude to him for
the personality he is in relation to
time management. Simply put, he is a stickler of time. While others went on 6months strike, my school experienced just 2 and half months of the strike. Other months were vacation months. Because we finished the academic calender prior to strike. Right now, we're already in 2nd semester of the new session.

Let me add too. May God bless him for saving the pocket money of students from the hands of
lecturers who wil always force us
outrightly just to buy their
textbooks. Owning a Textbook is
by choice now. Except for those
that attach Workbooks to theirs. At
least if you want to chop plenty
textbk money, you go extramile.

All these said.

......I bid him Ijeoma, safe journey in remainder of his career.
