We maybe living in one universe, but we see things differently. What if some persons were bold enough to tell us their stories? We celebrate both the known and unknown, wack and unwack. Yes, we all can co-exist.

Tidbit of history: Taiwo Olowo

Quiet Lagos. The magnificent plaque of Daniel Conrad Taiwo (Taiwo Olowo). 1781-1901. He arrived Lagos in 1848 and became a highly successful Trader,
Philantropist and Community Leader.
Upon his death, he was buried on his property, on Broad street, down the road from Tinubu Square. A majestic
and striking monument was erected over his tomb by the Brazilian-Lagosian Master builder Senhor Jorge DaCosta in 1905. The plaques were said to
have been forged from the melting of hundreds of Copper pennies. Visitors are welcome to view, but tact requires that you take permission from the
youths around the monument before taking photographs. Generally a friendly group and harmless, a few
hundred Naira and you can take as
many photo's as you like.

Below: a monument of Taiwo Olowo.
