We maybe living in one universe, but we see things differently. What if some persons were bold enough to tell us their stories? We celebrate both the known and unknown, wack and unwack. Yes, we all can co-exist.

New voice: greening the pastures in Nigeria.

Hey, there's a new voice today in the blog... His article bespoke volumes of thoughts beneath it. Do you agree with his thoughts?

While driving home on sunday
from church, I was drawn to the
headline of the sunday punch of
august 25, 2013 STOWAWAY. I bought a copy of the newspaper and opened it when I got home. The story of the stowaway was about a teenage boy
who stowed away on an Arik Air plane from Benin to Lagos hiding in the tire compartment.

After reading the story I
smiled, I could relate with the boy's pain. He wanted to leave benin, then come to over lagos to have a better life(to hustle) and make ends meet .

Prior to this incident, another young Nigerian Emeka Okechukwu who in 2010, tried the same tyre compartment trick
aboard a Delta Airline aricraft died
before he could get to the United
states. These boys are examples of how bad the situation in Nigeria has gotten.

These days, youths are being
forced into despicable dealings
because of poverty and the need for a better life. Everyday we hear about billions being stolen and yet the government cannot give back to their people.

In Nigeria the rich keep getting
richer while the poor get poorer. This uneven balance of things have led the youths into terrible acts likevprostitution, stealing, gambling , internet fraud, armed robbery, cultism and what have you. These are done all
in the Search for a greener pasture. The Masses of Nigeria are the ones bearing the brunt of the poor policies of the elites.

The Nigerian Senate is the highest paid in the
world. Most senators in the
developed world only work part-time, but the Nigerian senators work fulltime. To worsen the situation, the Nigerian government have turned deaf ears to the pleas of the masses for a better life, therefore these
youths cannot help but take matters into their hands.

Though, i am not in support
of all these crimes, but when the
government turns blind eyes
to their plights, what other
choices do the masses then have? Absolutely nothing!!!!

To curb this, our leaders need to start re-examining themselves because the youths
whom they are " Punishing " today are afterall the leaders of tomorrow.

However, the Search for a better
life continues.
