We maybe living in one universe, but we see things differently. What if some persons were bold enough to tell us their stories? We celebrate both the known and unknown, wack and unwack. Yes, we all can co-exist.

a day out

Throughout the whole day, she remained inside her room reminiscing over her life for 8months since she called it quit with the number two man in her life. She felt like shedding tears for her actions, the wasted cares, the unturned love, the ungrateful gifts given to him and squeezed from her meagre and precious pocket money, even her grades that was the worst hit was all because of chima. 'how i wish i can unwind the hands of time' she thought sadly. The marathon reading and relentlessness night classes she always do these days to fill the neglected gap her relationship with chima cost her academics was beginning to be much burden to her. 'Such a price to pay for 32 miserable weeks with a boy' she said out loud shaking her head pitiably. Anyway, come rain, come shine aluta continua and victoria asata. With these consoling thought, she took her bathe in almost soapy foam water-logged bathroom, dressed up in a pink dress and set out to see her friend/course mate at zik's flat, a hostel little far from hers. Twenty minutes later, almost close to franco buildings, she saw from afar an athletic tall boy with a girl whom will be judged his opposite in terms of height. They were holding each other tightly hand-in-hand like newly married couple on a honeymoon walk. With them, it seems all is well in the world of love. This sight reminded her her life before 8months ago. How she and chima walked in pair clunged tightly with their hands. They were the admiration of friends and frienemies. The many evenings' gentle breeze offered them solitude from the hassles of schoolwork stress which was hell-bent on its calling consistently. They were perfect match then. Jives and la-ville were another Malibu and Zanzibar beaches in their world where they normally have their date and cool-offs. Entering zik's flat main gate, after having crossed d ever busy road adjacent to the jives, one of the fun-catching places outside the campus, she met her friend in company of her boyfriend coming out 4rm a kiosk. Hey!! She exclaimed, 'pairing is the in-thing now, poor me' she thought to herself. 'nne, how far. Ur face is quite gloomy. Hope we are safe?' inquired from her friend who is carrying two black cellophane bags. She replied a timid am OK. After seeing the boyfriend to the main gate, the two went to the room of the friend. She invited her to a junk meal of soft-drink and gala of which courteously rejected. 'dear, do u have the material of that Dr obi's course?' was her first question to her friend. '........hmmmmm......i think i do' was her friend's response in mouthful of the snack. 'pls don't tel me that is only reason you're here' her friend asked again. She opened up and related how boring and miserable she had been since the day. The friend offered to take her jives of which she declined. An hour later, feeling beta with herself, she left for her room. Almost approaching the white and blue gigantic library building she was stopped by some guy who almost wanted to pin her down cos of her reluctant at first. 'wat can do for u mister' flowed out of her mouth unconsciously with her arms akimbo. '.....ehhhh, I've been watching u for some months, u seem lonely so, can i go on a date with you' the guy finally said after d initial stammer. She took her time to give the unlucky admirer a well sized-up look before giving her reply 'good Samaritan, thank u'. She hissed and left. She felt best after this. One for me, she said
